Seeking Bi-Vocational Pastor
Education/Qualifications
We are looking for a bi-vocational pastor who is:
- At least a graduate of Bible college
- Someone with at least 3-5 years prior pastoral experience
- 30-50 years of age
- Gifted teacher who enables persons to learn and understand deep spiritual truths
- Effective communicator of well-prepared sermons
- Skilled counselor available to assist persons with personal and spiritual problems
- Trustworthy
Duties/Responsibilities
- Deliver weekly, engaging, spirit-filled sermons that align with New Beginnings Bible Church’s doctrinal beliefs. Our website is www.newbeginningsbiblechurch.net. Look under About Us to find Our Statement of Faith.
- Lead weekly prayer meeting/Bible study.
- Officiate at communion and baptisms.
- Provide counseling and pastoral care in time of need.
- Visit shut-ins.
- Focus on growing the church membership.
Description of Church and Area
- We currently have a church size of under 30 people. We have room to grow.
- Kila is a small town about 10 miles west of Kalispell, Montana. Kila has a post office, a K-8 school, and several small businesses. Kalispell has all the needed amenities (city 24,000+; serves 104,000+).
- Kila’s population is approximately 440, with many of them spread out in the surrounding countryside. Our church serves the area with a clothes closet, space for a yard sale, and bbq/potluck.
- Smith Lake is a nearby small lake for fishing (all year round). There is a paved hiking/biking trail from Kila to Kalispell.
- Glacier National Park is 45 miles away. There are also two ski areas within 40 miles.
- We have four seasons a year with many activities in each season.
